Have you ever wanted your own web site? But that A HREF = shapes/digger.jpg/ /a stuff just isn't your thing? Well, just let me have a crack at it! I have been making my own websites, especially genealogy sites for the past two years now. I have about a dozen sites scattered across the net. My best one right now is at fortunecity. This is about what my deluxe site would be like. If you would like to see it, here it is!

The cost of a website is mostly in how much data I have to transfer. Small, all text sites that have up to 10,000 people in them are not much at all. When you start getting into photos and audio, that is when it starts getting a bit more costly. But all and all, the price is not bad compared to a few hundred dollars for a lot of places. Remember, quite a few of the free webspace providers are offering 100 Megabytes of space. An upload of that size could take me several days to complete. If this site gets going well, I will probobly go with a broadband service provider to speed things up.

First, I'll offer the big one, the Deluxe Family Website, a whopping maximum of 50,000 individuals in PAF 4.0 website format and up to the site limit in photos. This all depends on how many people are in your genealogy. Some big gedcoms may not have enough room for any photos, but even with 50,000 people you should have about 30 - 40 Mb of photo space. Here is a Deluxe site based on my genealogy. I'll even include some video if you like, but just one or two short clips. Also a custom designed homepage with graphics and links. This package comes to $40.00.

Second, I offer the Standard Family Website. It can also be up to 50,000 individuals in PAV 4.0 websiteformat, and up to 50 photos. It will also include the custom homepage and the graphics. It is a bit cheaper though, at $30.00.

Thirly, I offer the Economy Special Family Website. It can hold up to 200,000 individuals in PAV 4.0 website format, but no pictures. I will also do the custom homepage and graphics on this one too. It is a steal at $25.00

And for those with very limited budgets or small files we offer the Economy Light Family Website. It can have up to 10,000 individuals in PAF 4.0 format, but no photos. I will also do a custom homepage with graphics for you. This deal runs only $15.00.

I also do site updates for $5.00 to $15.00 depending on the site size. The Economy sites will run just $5.00 for an update, $10.00 on a Standard, and $15.00 on a Deluxe site.
